Toke Makinwa is such a strong woman. I couldn't have endured what she endured. I'm not that strong! I finally have a copy of the book and I can't believe some of things I've read so far! In chapter one, Toke talked about when Maje asked for a divorce in an email he never sent...

"My pastor has been seeing Maje and I before now for counseling. We have been having issues for months. Maje is always in a sour mood, picking at every little thing I do. I found out in the course of our counselling that Maje had once written an email to me requesting a divorce but had deleted it, without sending, at our pastor's request."
